Talitha Talitha Landis-Marinello grew up canoeing, hiking and gardening with her family in Vermont and is an alumnus of Woodstock School in the Indian Himalayan foothills. She is most at home outdoors and from nature she draws much of her inspiration as an artist. She is a sculptor and textile artist with expertise in shibori and quilt making. Her shibori skills help to create part of the extensive surface design for costumes of the Lion King Broadway Musical. Talitha is a nationally certified massage therapist with particular emphasis in oncology and clinical massage. Talitha’s final project for her B.A. explored the healing aspects of art in daily life. She spent a year living in India, and has done volunteer work in Zimbabwe and several countries in Southeast Asia. Talitha has a developing interest in sustainable architecture and building practices. In her own life she links art and ecological concerns on a daily basis.
