About Resources
Twine creates resources that aim to inspire learning, networking and action on an individual and collective level in the areas of art, ecology and social justice. Twine also places emphasis on sharing other outside sources of information and inspiration in order to encourage and strengthen networks working in related areas.
We aim to create, share and publish all kinds of stories and information as a way to emphasize connection within all humanity and the beautiful distinct specificity of diverse cultural expression and biodiversity. We place emphasis in sharing the stories of and about artists, artisans, and farmers. We also place emphasis in sharing information and tools that can help us be better caregivers and examples of creative and sustainable living for the next generation.
We believe that all people have the right to an ecologically healthy livelihood and that all human beings have valuable stories to tell and to hear. We are developing media tools like videos, zines, books and publications to share stories about creative, ecological, and social justice issues that affect our livelihoods, each other, and the earth.
We hope that these resources might inspire your own efforts in storytelling and dialogue. Some resources can be contextualised to many other situations, and we’d love to hear your feedback if you are inspired to do so, or would like to share a specific story that relates to one featured here. Let’s start a conversation, please join us as we seek to learn, inspire learning and be a part of ethical enterprises.
Please contact us with submissions for future online publications.
